Damp but smiling.
It poured all the way down Route 81 and for most of the first few holes earlier this week, but what the heck.
I’m glad I said yes when Tater texted early that morning and said the folks t Vesper Hills told him the course was relatively dry despite the good amount of moisture we were experiencing further north around the Syracuse area.
Nolan was feeling ill. Steve, Tater and I found out the course in Tully drains really well.
We even saw some blue skies on the back nine.
It took until July for me to get out and swing the clubs this season. Rusty, yes. As I said while we three friends enjoyed a beverage in the nice clubhouse afterward, I’d label my day as such: front nine, big problems; back nine, problems. Great fun and catch up, though.
People always say they regret the things they didn’t do, so I liked your phrase, “I’m glad I said yes.” So often it’s easier to say no.

Sitting at home in the rain is so easy, Kerbey. Going out in the rain for an adventure can be so rewarding.

A little rain is always welcome here to keep things cool! Golfers go out in any weather, just watch out for lightning!

We kept mostly dry with our cart, Beth! And the conversation kept us well-covered with wit and wisdom, too.
