Always my beach woman with a wanderlust.
Yes, my dear wife Karen and I surely found a sunny, warm day to bring the beach chairs and provided flag down to the private beach 1/10 of a mile from our vacation cottage in Dennis Port.

Good look.
It was an hour very well spent, enough to pick up some color but not burn.

My good read.
I came prepared for a relaxing hang.

The famous steps.
I was ready to lug it all back up the steps and to the cottage, where our cherished rescue mutt Ellie surely needed to go outside for something or another.
That spot looks amazing! Did they not allow dogs on the beach there, or was Ellie happier staying back? ❤️

They do have a dog ban post Memorial Day, Rachel, so Ellie remained home for that excursion. We walked her up top early in the day, though, and nobody complained about that!

No body would ever complain about sweet Ellie. ❤️

Most people like her and vice versa, Rachel, but you never know when you bump into folks who stand for the rules no matter what.

Yes, not one other person on a warm and sunny day, Rubens. Lucky we were.

Mark,
Hope you’re having a good time in retirement!
Make sure you watch that sun and use a sun screen with max. protection!
We have a house at the beach in southern NJ and it’s worth watching.
You should take the ferry ⛴️ to Nantucket or Martha’s a vineyard sometime enjoy the scenery, lobster 🦞 rolls, and cherry clam chowder not available everywhere.

Thanks, Gerald, we were careful about the sun exposure for sure. Have a good time on the Jersey Shore!

sounds like a great time spent relaxing by the water on the beautiful beach. you’re lucky it’s so close and looks like it’s pretty quiet there – a double win

We owned the beach that day, Beth. Ha ha, no, we were renters. Karen just told me that the cottage owners gave us a good rating on the site so all good for next year knock on wood.
