Happy wanderers.
I was quite content remaining at the top landing as my dear wife Karen and our cherished rescue mutt Ellie expired the sands of the private beach that short walk from our vacation cottage in Dennis Port.
It was a great spot to add to my Cape Cod photo album.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a …
Who knew a helicopter would buzz past so close overhead, catching the attention of woman and dog both.
I loved it from my view.
WOW! Now, that’s a cool shot! You were in exactly the right place at the right time with the camera at hand to capture that. What were they looking for? (Hopefully not sharks!) Was anyone in the water down the beach, or was it too cold for everyone? (We always get winter visitors who venture into the ocean when it’s far too cold to do so, but I do understand if you traveled all that way, you have to say you dipped your feet in there.) ❤️

One day we spotted some younger beaches all the way in, Rachel, but it seemed too cold yet to us!

I was quite thrilled to be on a plane with a helicopter, Beth, with those steps in the right location for that photo I thought! Yes, dear wife and cherished rescue mutt were quite surprised to see that kind of bird overhead!
