No cell bars required.
Of course we Cape Cod adventurers parked and walked the quaint Main Street of Wellfleet before we ventured to The Beachcomber.
I noticed that the Verizon folks thought the sidewalk in front of their storefront was the right place for a pay phone. Considering that George Two, Sue and I had located and took a photo of a pay phone back home at Selkirk Shores Park, I felt this moment with George Three, Elisabeth and my dear wife Karen was full-circle-like.

Hello, is this Uber?
And then when we got to the ocean’s edge at The Beachcomber, I felt like the phone Gods were connecting with me.

I hope this one goes mostly unused.
The Beachcomber folks leave no line unturned.
I did feel safer … and wondered how many bars my cell had as I snapped the photos. Did not check, though.
I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw a pay phone or even an emergency phone. Or even a phone in an elevator for that matter. I’m glad to see the people in Cape Cod aren’t getting rid of everything that we once held so dear. Thanks for sharing the cool photos! ❤

These Wellfleet Connection is very cool! For those that may “disconnect” on a getaway, these gestures bring nostalgia and help if needed! Thank you for sharing. Phones are everywhere, eh? 💛 in reference to a post many moons ago, I DID find the booths in my town!
