Salt potato history, appreciated

What’s cooking in our part of the world.

My recent walk at Onondaga Lake Park noted a new sign marking an important part of our area’s history put up outside the Salt Museum.

Cheers to the salt potato.

Long may we boil and butter!

  1. LOVE salt potatoes! They used to be the only kind we bought. Imagine our disappointment when I joined the army and we found you couldn’t get them in other states. I felt so clever the day I bought some small potatoes and made my own.
