High as she can climb.
My dear wife Karen and I decided it was time to pack our cherished rescue dog Ellie B into the car for the mile drive down the road so she can see where Elisabeth and George Three now live.
Of course, that means she had to say hello to beloved rescue cat Ava, too.
Ellie stayed on her leash.
They really did play nice. The dog scouted about the house, smelling this and that, barking here and there.
Ava jumped to the top of the couch. Elisabeth calls that protective look Poofy Tail.
Hopefully that Poofy Tail condition will subside as more familiarity takes place.😀

We are planning the outdoor outing for Ellie when we can have a barbecue in their backyard, Bruce, and maybe another short stay inside to make nice with Ava.
