Center of things.
As soon as George pulled the car up to Breitbeck Park in Oswego, I recalled my time as the music reporter for the big daily covering music during concert doings for the huge annual Oswego Harborfest at the shoreline sight.
The headline set by the Charlie Daniels Band came to mind first.
The grounds were quite crowded, I recalled. Quite different than a quiet Thursday in February.

Stacked high.
George had an interesting story about the adjacent high chimneys and low tanks, longtime home for first coal and now oil-based heating engines for the area.
What a lovely view!

Beautiful, even on a February Thursday. Thank you for this trip. Now for Wednesday! Actually I spent Thursday moving, Wednesday, Tuesday and Monday packing, Friday and today unpacking and putting things away. I’m not sure if I’m going forward,, backward or sideways, but maybe tomorrow will be better.
