Rolling my way.
I was the first car to the flashing lights on the main road to my library job the other morning, and cautious man I am, I stopped instead of crossing before the gate dropped.
I expected the train to roll into my life from the right, as usual when I’m halted at this crossing.

Heading for cargo.
This time it came from my left.
As I watched obviously empty train cars roll by, my mind worked.

Have a nice trip.
Usually the train going the other way appears full. Hmmmmmmm.
In any case, I was stopped for four minutes.
Shorter than usual.
Arrived at work in plenty of time.
Every time I encounter one of these, I envision the gate coming down on top of the car while I’m on the tracks, Mark. I always check up and stop early, or make 100% sure I can get across before the “fun” starts!
