Can you hear the happiness?

They’re a great sign that spring has arrived and there’s no turning back now. I especially like that dogwoods flower first and put out leaves second. They’ve got their priorities.

I love dogwoods, although I found when we had one, they left a mess when all the pods fell. But they are lovely when they bloom!

I don’t have one in my yard but am blessed with a beautiful birch, wild cherry tree, and various hardwoods. Most would not like gumball trees, but so many beautiful birds feed off of it and nest~ so I’m great with it. My allergies, however, wreaked havoc on my immune and I had to avoid the outdoors for a while~ that I don’t like!

Good trees for the birds are good trees for sure, Karla. And allergies hit me at this time of year, too.
