A building block never noticed

Never before noticed.

Nosing around the Village of Liverpool because I arrived early for my shift at the library recently, I saw this across the street from the Cobblestone.

Who knew that the building that houses Freedom of Espresso was a cornerstone location?

My best wishes go out to all those affected by Hurricane Ida this weekend. May things get better for you fast.

  1. Mark – what does the mean – a cornerstone location? And having lived through 3 hurricanes in Florida – none anywhere near the intensity of Ida – I can’t even imagine what those people are going through. I am praying the levees and pumps in New Orleans are functioning as they are supposed to.

  2. Mark, what a beautiful find! I’ve missed you friend. My heart goes to all victims. My heart hurts for the world right now. I’ve missed being on here and seeing friends such as you. It makes everything else seem more “normal”. In the last week a new granddaughter was born in Alaska. I also published my first children’s non-fiction book! It’s all about Missouri and thanks to some awesome local librarians (I just love librarians ;-), I have four book signings to look forward to when the cool breezes blow. I hope you and yours are well. Take care.

    • Congratulations on your great good news, Karla, family wise and professional wise! The children of Missouri will be better for your words and accompanying illustrations, my friend. I’m so glad to hear the librarians down there are wise enough to know that. 😉 Be well and take care on your tour for sure.
