Nosing around the Village of Liverpool because I arrived early for my shift at the library recently, I saw this across the street from the Cobblestone.
Who knew that the building that houses Freedom of Espresso was a cornerstone location?
My best wishes go out to all those affected by Hurricane Ida this weekend. May things get better for you fast.
My thoughts and prayers to those affected, Mark 🙏😌

They need it from what I see on the news. Thank you, Patricia.

I have never experienced a hurricane and know that I really have no idea the intensity of them. I pray there are miracles at hand.

I have faced fierce winds while growing up on Long Island and they scared me greatly, MBC. I am hoping for big rebounds down there now.

Mark – what does the mean – a cornerstone location? And having lived through 3 hurricanes in Florida – none anywhere near the intensity of Ida – I can’t even imagine what those people are going through. I am praying the levees and pumps in New Orleans are functioning as they are supposed to.

The news reports now look so dire, SD. And a cornerstone location, well, it means what they want I guess.

Mark, what a beautiful find! I’ve missed you friend. My heart goes to all victims. My heart hurts for the world right now. I’ve missed being on here and seeing friends such as you. It makes everything else seem more “normal”. In the last week a new granddaughter was born in Alaska. I also published my first children’s non-fiction book! It’s all about Missouri and thanks to some awesome local librarians (I just love librarians ;-), I have four book signings to look forward to when the cool breezes blow. I hope you and yours are well. Take care.

Congratulations on your great good news, Karla, family wise and professional wise! The children of Missouri will be better for your words and accompanying illustrations, my friend. I’m so glad to hear the librarians down there are wise enough to know that. 😉 Be well and take care on your tour for sure.

Thank you so much, Mark, for your kind words and encouragement! I hope my series, Faith and Finley, continues to grow and provide lots of smiles for our kids. I will stay well (I had to quarantine for 10 days after testing negative ~I’ve had both immunizations too~and allergies and sinus issues are rampant around me. I’ll take care and be wise! You be well and take care too! 🙂
