Taking a Sunday walk around the neighborhood blocks, my dear wife Karen, cherished rescue mutt Ellie B and I had to slow down to admire what has become of the front yard where they so carefully place removable plastic over their front garden patches come the cooler months.
Their care has resulted in a marvelous bounty to come, I think. I hope. I admire the suburban homesteading in our midsts and wonder once more if their backyard is full or used for other things.
Backyard? Full of flowers maybe ? 💜

I love this. I hope to do the same next year. Though it will probably be in my backyard. I hope for them a tremendous bounty!

They work on it very hard, MBC, and I hope it feeds them well! I hope your backyard version will be full and you too.

Wow… that’s a gorgeous garden! Perhaps too much shade in the backyard.

Must be nice not to have Subdivision Rules. Article One, Section One, a,b,c.
With a lot of “Thou Shall Not’s.” etc etc 😦

I wonder if any of their neighbors complain anyway, ladysighs.

I bet they don’t complain because the gardener shares those beautiful tomatoes.
