After a year away because COVID-19 shut everything down last summer, the vintage cars have returned to my part of the world this weekend for the big show up at the New York State Fairgrounds.
So after leaving work yesterday afternoon, part of my errand list was to stop at the hotel parking lot for a photo check.

Some had gathered, yes.
I figured they would be there because my dear wife Karen and I had seen and heard them the night prior.

The neighboring drug store parked what might be their old delivery truck on the adjoining lawn. Nice.
I am not a big car guy, but I went to a car show with my dad once and I appreciate the design, engineering, and style of old cars. Seems like they were made better back then.

Just looking brings back memories of my first car, a zippy blue 69 Chevy Nova, Tony. It was a compact car back then but when I see one now it looks as big as a limousine.

We still drive a 2007 Honda. Might be in the show some day.

A reminder of the older cars I have driven during my decades on the road, MBC!

It is car show season. I see them everywhere the last few weeks. I do love the nostalgic feeling the evoke. But my oldest car was a ’74 VW Bug my brother gave me. Wish I had it back!
