The pies are hand made by my dear wife Karen.
My dear wife Karen took on a Saturday adventure with our great friend Georgia.
They drove the short miles to community farm stand Abbott’s, purchased fall apples, and tackled the project of baking a few October apple pies.
Georgia had volunteered to guide a somewhat reluctant Karen through the making and baking processes.
Success, my tastes buds and tummy will tell you of my no-sugar-added version.

My face did look like this after a slice.
During the making, I received a preview text. My wife adorned my pie with a smiley face. So well done!
I can smell the sweetness of this success story and need to bake my own smiley face pie. Thank you for the inspiration, Bro!
