Returning home from our walk with our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle at 5 p.m. Tuesday, my dear wife Karen pointed out a great thing outside our front door.
Yes, we have green growth before the end of February.
Sprouts are heaving out of the ground to mix with remaining snow.
Happy we are.
YAY! And a hearty congratulations to you both. I can’t wait to see your forthcoming beautiful springtime garden photos. 😀

We had some fluffs to watch today. Cold but no real accumulation. It is crazy. from 50 to 20 and back again.

That up and down can make you guess at the closet, can’t it, MBC?

I wanted to plant tulips last Fall so I could enjoy seeing them pop their little heads up in Spring, but I never got around to it. I’ll just have to enjoy everyone else’s new growth. I did go out in between snows to check on my winterberry, and that seems to have not only survived but looks quite strong. BTW, I’m still waiting to actually see that robin I heard singing last week – the silly thing must be hiding.

I understand the excitement! Our Daffodils are in full pretty bloom. I am so curious to see if we have Iris growing and what colors they are! I looked all over for Crocus, but did not find any. We just moved on to the farm last October so everything is a Surprise! Enjoy your Spring! :)Jen
