I’ll take the shrimp and the shrimp at Dirty Al’s

Fresh place.

Dirty Al’s advertised the best friend shrimp anywhere.

Shell of a greeting.

The Syracuse four plus brother-in-law Scott decided to take them up on their offer.

So fresh, yes.

First I made an executive decision to order a pound of peel-an-eat to set in the middle of the table. And peel-and-eat we did for a moment before I remembered to take the above photo. Scott re-staged it the best he could.

With fries.

My dear wife Karen got her fried shrimp with some crispy French fries.

That their salad.

Scott and I both decided to pair our fried shrimp with the side salad. I felt a severe lack of available vegetables on this trip for some reason despite trying my hardest.

Golden nuggets.

George went for fried oysters. He is always the most adventurous eater of us all.

My daughter loves chicken.

My daughter is not a seafood type. Chicken it was.

Verdict from the shrimp-eaters. Yes.

  1. Obligatory quote from Forrest Gump:
You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich.
