My dear wife Karen told me I’d have to wait a bit for my final anniversary gift this year.
She’d ordered special, you see, to mark our tin-and-aluminum milestone.
Perfect. The sign that arrived by post marks the exact distance from A Bitty Better in our Liverpool neighborhood in Galeville to our New York Mets’ Citi Field in Flushing, N.Y.
We’ve driven it. We’ve ridden it in a tour bus. We shall make those 264 miles together again in the years to come.
