My dear wife Karen’s schedule change for the new job at the hospital has put me in a bit of a tizzy.
I’m getting accustomed to her second-shift pattern bit by bit, but that doesn’t mean I have to like the increased alone time.
Oh, wait.
Of course, I have the company of Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle, our cherished rescue mutt.
And for her?
Ellie B gets more Mom time at the start of the day and more Dad time at the end of it.
That leads to intense … relaxation.
Pets are worth it

Time without spouse SUCKS! But time with dog helps. We need to rescue another mutt ourselves.

New work schedules are tough on everyone, but after a couple of weeks everything will seem normal again. Sounds like Ellie B. has already adjusted.

The dog is getting into having our attention separately, I think, CM.

Sounds like Miss Ellie may adjust better than Mr. B. I hope it all smooths out MBM.
