For Friday night’s Syracuse college football game against Clemson, my dear wife Karen and I decided to take a different walking route up to the Carrier Dome.
Formidable hospital.
It took us past the Golisano Children’s Hospital at Upstate Medical University.
Welcoming, too.
As dusk falls on the Syracuse University hill, this sure is a striking sight.
I’m glad the children of Central New York have such a place dedicated to their care and welfare.

Beautiful. Do you know of the University of Iowa’s Children’s hospital that built huge windows that look out over their stadium ? The players and fans turn to wave at the kids. Sweet.
