I rolled the dice and asked for a Thursday comp day.
KP and Netti said they could play, too. We booked a morning tweet time.
And a week later, the weather was … good enough for us.
Hot, yes. Humid, sure. Forecast for afternoon thunderstorms, of course.
But our 9:52 a.m. tee time saw us off without a care.
There was a bit of a wait at the par-three second hole, but there usually is.
On the hilly par-four 12th, the drives of KP and I came to a stop, oh, a foot or so apart in the fairway. He celebrated our Even Steven-ness.
We were safely inside the clubhouse when the rain started.
Great day it was on the Robert Trent Jones Sr. course in a New York State Park.
it looks like a wonderful and glad you were all able to work it out )
