You never know what you’re going to see when you take a walk in your new place in the world. Odd, quirky stuff, if you’re lucky.
It’s happening already in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville.
My dear wife Karen and I came upon a good one while circling the blocks surrounding a Bitty Better with Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle on a good autumn stroll.
Set among all of the one-family house plots was … well … a different sort of set-up.
This area had a few houses that seemed to belong together, with a bigger place set in the back.
Karen called it The Hotel California.
Perfect nickname.
What do you think of this housing arrangement? What do you think it might have originally been built with in mind? Go ahead, give it a name, please and thank you.
Perhaps a retirement community?

That gray house is a monstrosity. Obviously, no architect involved there! As for the arrangement of those houses – my first thought is: If you live there, you damn well better get along with your neighbors!

They all could be the nicest people in the world, CM. But I am not knocking on any of the doors to investigate.

Kinda looks like my other room, bro Mark. A lot of spare stuff plopped down and forgotten about til it was just out of control. Just think of all the possibilities!
