Here are the frightened thoughts of Amy Rose, just a 2 1/2 drive west on the New York State Thruway from where I live in Syracuse … until the Buffalo area got hit with more than six feet of snow over the past several days. Now the BIG MELT is coming, and Amy is fearing the flood. She asks for prayers. Amen.
Oh, that stinks! 😦

When I read that Buffalo got socked with 76 inches of snow in 24 hours, my heart really went out to them. Best wishes and prayers to Amy and all others living there.

Thank you, Mark, for the reblog. Bless you for the prayers. This has been so awful but with my WP friends, we are going to get through this. (((HUGS))) Amy

You can do it, Amy. I saw on the Syracuse TV news that they have sent DPW crews west to help. Yay!

We are getting help from all over NY State, Mark. The Gov spoke to the President and it looks like we are going to get FEMA. The cleanup has been amazing with these crews working day and night. These huge machines are getting snow out of areas most likely to flood and dumping it on higher ground. Tomorrow begins the floods. Hold on to your hats! (((HUGS))) Amy
