When the morning newspaper puts a forecast for a foot of snow the next day on the top of the front page, I have to take notice.
Especially on the second straight day when the temperatures in Syracuse have cracked 40 degrees, spurring a good melt and a measurable rise in my spirits.
I’m about to go walking our Syracuse city neighborhood of Eastwood with Ellie B to take best advantage.
But first I took this iPad Air out in the backyard to chronicle below the green grass that has showed up thanks to the approach of spring.
It’s ugly on first view, dirt and Ellie stuff and a true spring sprucing to come.
But it’s beautiful in its own way.
I hope spring isn’t as weird as winter was.

Don’t hang up that shovel just yet. Sorry Mark. The clocks are ready, now spring just needs to pull up a chair and stay awhile. Have you tried baking a cake?

No. Maybe I should buy it a muffin, Sandra.

We’re suppose to go into the 50’s today down state but back down to the 20’s Thursday. They originally called for snow tomorrow but they said no snow, rain instead and in the 60’s.

We will be back in 20s Thursday, too, Kim.

I could have predicted that. It always snows on March 12th…

Wow. I’ll have to remember that. Is this because, it is at last time for me to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Chris, or did I miss it last week?
LikeLike
Haha. Nope you didn’t miss it. It’s tomorrow. 🙂 I probably should think of something creative to update with.

I shall… maybe. Haha. I’m on cat sitting duty, and will be in the eastern/downtown neck of the woods. If you’re passing by the Kitty Hoynes area around 8, feel free to swing in and say hello. We don’t party like rock stars, but we relax like people in rocking chairs.

I do love that analogy, Chris. I have an appointment at 8, I’ll see how long it takes.

That has to be a beautiful sight to see after having as much snow as you all have! Actually, I think that green grass looks pretty darn green for this time of year.
