I may be having a hard time getting myself in full roar this Monday morning.
Truth be known, I’ve got a bit of a stuffy nose situation going on. Nothing serious, mind you, but enough for me to put that question in the back of my mind: Are you going to get sick?
Can’t. Big week. I must craft a cover letter to go with my resume and send it to a friend, following up on some networking I accomplished Saturday at the now-famous Ugly Sweater (and shirt) Christmas Party. I also want to send some follow-up emails regarding some other positions for which I know I’m a great fit. I have to be ready for a lunch later in the week, set up to discuss a possible part-time opportunity at a prestigious organization.
Tomorrow, my attendance at a workshop where they’ll tell me how to better go about getting a job is mandatory.
Oh, yeah, even later in the week, I plan to celebrate my birthday. It’s the year following a round-number hoo-hah, but I still think I’ll say yee-hah.
One look over at my Ellie B, aka Dogamous Pyle, and I know it’s time to get moving. There’s no benefit to just lying around all day, right, dear dog?

My birthday is Friday..when is yours??

Mark, 31 was my guess, too. 😉 Best of success on your job search. Ellie B. is a beautiful girl and she’s waiting patiently for you to get better and go for a walkie. 😉

Ellie B got her walk a little later. Her patience paid off. Mine will too, I hope, Judy. We were all 31 when we hung out before you guys moved to Florida, right?!

You could try leaning over a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head to inhale the steam. Or just take to your bed with a good book.

Beautiful dog! I have felt like I was coming down with a cold in the past and took a teaspoon full of honey. No cold! Anyway, try it…can’t hurt!
