The good folks of greater Syracuse turned out in a big way for the annual Fourth of July Parade in Manlius this morning.

My dear wife Karen and I brought Ellie B, aka Dogamous Pyle, to march along with happy pets and dogged owners from Dog Gone Doggy Day Car, in the Sno Top Plaza.

Ellie B loved the spotlight. The kids along the route adored her, too. One boy told his mom, “That’s my favorite” as he pointed at Ellie B. That’s our dog.

By the way, Bob Loungo, known around these parts as the man serving up the franks at his Bob’s Barkers spot, was behind the canines in the parade order. Somebody had a good touch, there.
