We knew we couldn’t savor our time at The Clevelander too much.
The Cleveland Guardians game against the Chicago White Sox was a giveaway, and we all wanted to score one of cool red hoodies going to the first 15,000 folks in the gates.
Arriving to Progressive Field more than 45 minutes before those gates would open, we were met with a bunch of lines from which to choose.
Moving up.
Our excitement built as we saw the gates open.
Would we score our hoodies?

Love the giveaways. My game was a doubleheader caused by a thunderstorm on Friday night. I waited an hour until they open the gates to get my Larry Doby 75th anniversary jersey. And it had to be an away jersey because they changed the name to the Guardians.
