For our New York State Fair proper meal, my dear wife Karen and I decided upon the tried-and-true sausage sandwich, piled with peppers and onions.
I knew from my many years of covering concerts at the fairgrounds that the Basilio’s stand would do it right.
They certainly have the experience.
We savored our moment, eating under their stand tent.
It was so sumptuous.
