Familiar and new on the Cape

Great vibes for sure.

Now that we’re back home safe and sound, it’s time to share this year’s Cape Cod getaway for my dear wife Karen and I.

When she started getting down to booking business, back when it was still officially winter, Karen noticed that the second house of the three that we’ve stayed at over the years was back on the renting site.

And, the rate was more reasonable than house three, which we had switched two a handful of years ago when the second had disappeared from the site.

House three was closer to the water, we pondered, but do we go back to save some cash?

The cherished rescue mutt liked the yard of house two way better. Me, too.

House two it was.

And the home owner had built a new room on top of the back porch since last we visited.

She told us she called it her Zen Room.

Fabulous.

We felt at peace in the Zen Room for hours every day.

Looks great inside and out.

It was the right choice.

I’ll share more in the coming days.
