Sweet Eva there in spirit.
When our Syracuse Mets announced the inaugural cats at the stadium game, terrific daughter Elisabeth and George Three got harnesses and leashes for kitties Vinnie and Izzy. Backpacks. A stroller.
The inside kitties began seeing their neighborhood in a very supervised manner.
But before game day, it was decided they were not quite ready for the big time.
So the cutout of beloved Eva, purchased for the Covid season, came to the game with us instead.
We saw four cats in the pregame parade. Brave!
