Deep to center.

Here’s the field that greeted us when we arrived for this year’s Syracuse Mets open house at NBT Bank Stadium.

I decided as the event wound down over the course of two-plus hours that I could accomplish my own version of iPhone time-lapse photography.

Settling down.

It wasn’t warming up much, but a bit of blue sky seemed to be have a small melting effect on the field.

Better.

By the time we were leaving, we had more hopes for the home opener on Tuesday, April 1.
