A ticket in each bag …
One way to help support the Baldwinsville Riptides baseball program at the pub crawl fundraiser was to purchase tickets for a chance to win the donated prize baskets.
My dear wife Karen and I, and terrific daughter Elisabeth and George each went for the arm’s length for $20.
We all filled out a portion of the tickets with our name and dropped them into prize baskets that caught our eyes.
The next morning I got a text from Elisabeth.
She and I had each won: the spa basket and the Syracuse Mets family package.
Yes, we are lucky!
Congratulations! And as a weird aside, I love the wrapping paper they used – those little star bursts make all the prizes sparkle! Linda 🙂

YAY! The most deserving family and of course–the GAME! Woot woot! Ok, Mark, I think you won’t mind I share this, then. I donated money to a military family for Christmas on behalf of my sons, their families, and me. I received a call that I had won a cash drawing and I picked it up yesterday. I was overwhelmed with gratitude. Win-wins are just amazing to experience!
