Did these grow like this on their own, I wondered as my dear wife Karen and I admired the collection at the Ontario Orchard nursery, or did the curator coax them into the three-balled shape?

I’m the girl that hates trimming bushes and at my former house had all Missouri Native flowers and plants growing by my little house. Now I’m in the “city” and my hedges (which feel so….ordinary lol) are extremely wild compared to the neighbors and I just smile lol 😂. I can’t even think about giving my tiny poodle a cut that looks similar to those shrubs lol. I know many love well groomed. I do enough to fit in situations, but the wild suits! lol 😂

You are right, those hedges do look like coifed poodles, Karla. But not Finn, never!
