Same as it ever was.
Nobody can accuse the many folks who’ve taken the wheel of the New York State Fair of being change-averse.
If state officials think an alteration will bring more bodies through the game (and coins into the state piggy bank), tinker they will.
Yet when my dear wife Karen and I take our first annual strides through the main gate, I’m glad to see some things I always spy through my 40-plus years visiting the grounds just outside of Syracuse proper.
Well-placed trees that give you shade when you need it.
Yellowish/beige brick on the buildings that must have been in when an architect checked that box.
That grass that feels better to my feet than the paved walkways we navigate for miles.
The blue skies and clouds that feel good to my eyes and soul.

Walk with us.
I’ll share this and that during the next week of posts. Join us, won’t you?
I noticed two changes this week as I went out and about. The grocery store had rearranged some aisles and I couldn’t find a thing. A doctor’s office had purchased new chairs for the waiting room. Hard as rocks. ;(
Today I’m getting a haircut. Really looking forward to the change. 😉
And looking forward to your fair pics.

Some changes go over better than others for sure, ladysighs. I’m happy on the day that my dear wife Karen cuts my hair!
