
It’s down there, too.
Earlier this summer, I began seeing and hearing busy workers clearing trees and brush to the left side of the town offices on our street.
I thanked them, and the boss told me they were going to get the hillside but good.

And a zoom.
Now that they’re done, my dear wife Karen and I no longer need to walk to the middle of our street and look down for our lake view.
We can look from our lawn, or driveway, or even the kitchen window, and see the lake down below.
I bet it’s going to look sweet when the leaves are down … not that I’m rushing the coming for autumn and winter.
