Ready and waiting.
When you live so close to the water, why not have a spot to put your boat in?
Some folks have decided to build a dock on their land across from their home, my dear wife Karen and I see on our Brewerton street stroll.
Looks convenient.
So nice, Mark! I lived in lake area for a while and we were the ones without a boat~everyone would go to the dock and get in there boats. I bet you know why my son’s dad decided to get a boat since there was an empty dock! A friend said, “Who needs a boat if you have a friend with a boat?” In honor of Jaws and Shark Week, I’ll say, “We’re gonna need a bigger boat!”
Your view is fabulous!!

Thank you for sharing the memory and that classic line from ‘Jaws,’ Karla. Growing up on Long Island, I always kept an eye out on the water for the big fin!

You’re welcome ☺️ Thank you, Mark, for creating such an inviting “home” I feel comfortable to share! I can imagine how you stay fin aware with your background!!

It sure was something growing up on Long Island when Peter Benchley’s novel and then the blockbuster movie came out and made everybody so wary, Karla!

fun to just jump on your boat for a spin, like us jumping in our cars for a ride

You could get some little toy boats to set out beside your pool. Maybe?
