The Syracuse Mets store was chock full of new gear for Saturday’s open house at NBT Bank Stadium.
The good news: My dear wife Karen and I left with a bag of attire we might wear to Opening Day on March 29.
The bad news: All daughter Elisabeth asked to bring back (she and George weren’t back from their Florida vacation in time) was a simple Mets chapstick. And it wasn’t in stock.

Ha! Good deal, Mark!! I’m all about the chapstick! It’s a running joke in our family–my Dad and sons must have it, too. At Christmas there will be a LOT of chapstick given out!
