Best of times from our little piece of the world.
It was warm enough in this in-between week for the cherished rescue mutt and I to take a little walk along the block each day. My dear wife Karen honored my request to capture us on our front lawn so I could show off the awesome new vest she gave me for Christmas. Let’s Go, Mets!
We’ll celebrate this New Year’s Eve with a dinner at local Liverpool restaurant The Retreat with good friends Georgia and Bert. We’ll be home in plenty of time to watch all the festivities from Times Square on our living room big screen … just the way we prefer.
Whichever way you choose to ring in 2024, may it be safe and comforting.
Happy New Year to you!!

We received a small dusting since Karen took that photo, Beth, nothing much but a small coating. Safe travels to Arizona, much condolences to your sister and the family.

That is a nice gift! I’m wondering what was so interesting that was drawing rescue mutt’s attention. Hope the weather stays warm for a bit.

Rescue mutt gets diverted by this and that, ladysighs. And we woke up to a small coating of snow on that lawn!
