Changing the font.
Caught on a supermarket run this week: A hard-working crew changing the big letters on the storefront.
News sites say the older stores, like the one closest to our house, had yet to catch up to the new style corporate logo.

Fancier.
The next day’s visit saw the new logo smack dab in the middle of its spot.
I like the fancier new logo.

isn’t is interesting how logos become such a part of us over time? when a new one, or even new color or font appears, it takes us a bit to get used to it, but we absolutely notice it.

Yes, that’s why such care is taken when picking a new one (we know), Beth!

I googled Wegmans and read it is a large business mostly in the northeast. I wonder how it is pronounced. Doesn’t seem like it would roll pleasantly off the tongue. But if they offer tasty wares at a fair fare I guess that’s ok.
We have our H-E-B. Pronounced H-E-B. Easy to say. 🙂

Wegmans started here in Central New York and has spread to neighboring states, ladysighs. Weg rhymes with the leg you stand on, mans might have been spelled mins but it wasn’t. It’s the name of the founding family.
