Those kind of bills.
Terrific daughter Elisabeth’s new job features day trips that spread hours from our Central New York home city of Syracuse.
When she and work colleague landed in the state seat of Albany to share knowledge, they were treated to a tour of the capital building.

What a place to work.
She was surprised that citizens were allowed to observe our elected officials discussing state business.
Democracy in action, I replied.
Her time in the building reminded me of my day with colleagues with hundreds of workers from around the state for Library Advocacy Day. My time included a one-on-one interview with our Assembly representative in her office. I felt privileged and empowered talking library business indeed.
WOW! That’s an awesome job perk! ❤️
