Welcome again.
When July is getting ready to say hello to August, the thick crop of Black-Eyed Susans that sit between our house and the next-door neighbors know it’s time to push out their yellow heads.
I like their emergence.
This year, their greenery is thick, indeed. The flowers up top appear a bit thinner than usual to my eyes.
Such are the whims of nature, reacting to the cues around them.
You always have such an incredible yard with so many beautiful plants and flowers. This year is no exception. The Susans are stunning! ❤️

Nature is wonderful, always showing us new surprises everyday. The weather may be hot for us, but it is just right for the flowers.

It is hot up here, too, David, but I am following your New Orleans temps and hoping you guys can keep cool!

As you know I have now lived in the South longer than the North. Here in the Deep South we have the dry butt crack season, and the wet butt crack season, guess which we are in now?
