Here’s to my puzzle-makers

Clink-clink.

The combination of my dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth and fabulous fiance George Three had their puzzle-making goggles focused keenly this Cape Cod getaway.

Roll ‘em.

Together and individually, three 1,000-piece jigsaws were assembled and then put back in their boxes (after I crept in to capture the photo, of course). Long may they continue to enjoy these challenges as I sit nearby and read a novel and watch TV simultaneously.

Misplaced one.

Some are harder than others, I can tell from my spot not at the table.

  1. Yes, and they can work for anyone capable of using them!
And reduce the time to complete a puzzle significantly as attested by the Puzzle Masters Society.

  2. Mark,
Yes, I am a puzzle advocate. Life is a puzzle as well to put the pieces together!
I usually work on them at our place down the shore.
I find that the 1000 piece puzzles are a little big and awkward to set and manage all the pieces until you get some placed. The 500 are more ideal to cope with.
I use a trick and put the pieces on two foam poster boards to better manipulate and find them near the work. Also put the puzzle itself on one. This way it’s easier to stack and move when others use the table.

  3. I love puzzles like they do and admire fellow puzzlers, so here’s them! I just did one yesterday and it was the first time I’ve had time to do one in a while so it was exciting, but of course, one piece missing at the end. I suspect olive )
