The Cape Cod adventurers chose the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend for a return trip to the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich, Mass.
We happily toured the expansive grounds together during Rhododendron Festival in 2021. My dear wife Karen and I returned ourselves last year.
We found the state of blooming from species to species to be drastically different even though the time of year was the same.

Beautiful, daughter and flowers.
So, we wondered, what would be the same for the rhododendrons and hydrangeas in year three? Peak, past or in between? What new species might we spy this years?

We found so many examples of all of the above as we covered the miles of paths.

R and R moment for me.
I’ve got plenty of photographs left for some more daily posts, don’t you fret.
How beautiful! But if I didn’t know these were from vacation, I’d have assumed they were of your own lovely yard. 🙂

My daughter always gives me a plant for Mother’s Day… and I always manage to kill it before June. So, yes, I give you a lot of credit because your yard is always stunning. ❤
