Worth the wait.
A friendly guy by the name of Andrew my dear wife Karen and I chatted with our first night during this year’s Cape Cod getaway asked us if we’d ever experienced The Beachcomber in Wellfleet.
The kids thought they’d like to try a joint like that.

Windswept.
Food and drink on the ocean’s edge.
An inside table would be ours in 45 minutes, the polite hostess said. You bet. The Beachcomber had us.

Perfect.
We all enjoyed our food and drink, and I was quite glad that George Three was able to order up the renowned Wellfleet oysters he craves back home in Central New York right there where they are dug.
That looks like a fun restaurant, Mark! Did they have any outdoor seating also?

They had outdoor seating, yes, Rachel. We figure it was, say, 30 degrees cooler and 20 mph too windy for us to take that choice.

May you and George get your shellfish fill, Nance! Elisabeth informed me yesterday of the Father’s Day cookout at their house, I hope George gets some for he and his dad!
