More and more purple
Somehow, for some reason, more purple/pink blossoms keep turning up in our mostly-white front yard window guardian. It does look quite interesting.

The pool closers did their thing. We live in a one-season climate for the backyard pool, for sure. This was a very good season for dipping, I will say. Thank you, my dear wife Karen, for your wonderful pool upkeep so we could thoroughly enjoy our oasis.
On this first day of fall, I offer the recent capture at the Onondaga Lake Marina. Boats are still docked. Leaves on the tree are still green and quite up there. Lights on the Lake decorations are piled and ready for installation.
This late in the season, I can enjoy my Syracuse Mets season by rooting for many players watched through previous portions of the year playing upstairs with the parent New York Mets. In fact, the lead off hitter on this night was outfielder Travis Jankowski, who began the season with my New York Mets until…
Some nights at the ballpark are so, so wonderful. Sitting with George Three’s nephew Mason game me so many smiles at the Syracuse Mets game. When they threw the T-shirts out between innings, one winged its way to the nice gentleman wearing a black T in the row ahead of us. He immediately turned and…
The giveaway this week at the Syracuse Mets game was a cool green jersey. Yes, said Elisabeth, George Three, Mason, myself and my dear wife Karen. Susan, too, but she was down at the concession stands when I was snapping these photos. I like the stickers chosen for cheeks by Karen and Elisabeth. More on…
On a family trip to the Regional Market earlier this season, terrific daughter Elisabeth mentioned to dear wife Karen that she had some sunflower seeds planted at brother Steven’s house. I’ll say. The September harvest yielded huge clippings. She did promised seeds. I wonder how they’ll come up on our yard next summer …
Back on Labor Day weekend, my dear wife Karen and I took on a team project to pretty up the shed work so satisfyingly started by terrific daughter Elisabeth, fiance George Three and members of his tree while we were in Cape Cod at the start of this season. We first took the wood they…
Before we leave photos taken at the New York State Fair, I offer this glorious capture from my friend KP as he visited the big sprawl with our pal Bake. When he put the photo up on a text string with Tater and I, I immediately asked KP if I could use his scene of…
While we ate our Peacheys glazed donut, my dear wife Karen and I took a good luck at the closed-for-the-evening Extreme Strong setup. I imagined the strong person in the home-away-from-home parked behind the sign. Slurping a protein smoothie? Sleeping to regain power? Watching me watching? I swear I’m not creepy. Welcome to Central New…
