Midway through the super set by The Wood Brothers at Beak and Skiff, an alarming amount of smoke began billowing over the left corner of the stage.
Dark, ugly smoke.
I had to go down and ask the security guards about it.
It appears the neighbor with adjoining property was burning something in his fire bit. We’re all safe, the guard assured me. Maybe we should make an announcement, he wondered out loud to other security people. Didn’t happen.
The opening set truly did smoke as everybody got ready for Lake Street Dive.

Oh my! Glad it was just the neighbor!

Not very organized then, maybe the neighbours were not keen on the concert. I hope it did not spoil the fun 💜

It did not spoil the fun at all, Willow, since the fire stayed right in place there.
