My fantastic daughter Elisabeth, her sensational significant George Three and I had a fine time for the season finale at the Carrier Dome Saturday afternoon.

We started with a visit to the quad, watching a bit of the Pride of the Orange marching band and scoring some free chocolate bar samples from a tent.

The kids also placed their rock painted in Orange and Blue for the occasion.
They’re both into the decorate-and-discover craze that’s spreading around Central New York. Paint a rock, put it out in nature, and let somebody else find it for the beauty. It’s all held together by Facebook.

At home, she texted me the photo above from the Facebook page 315 Rocks. That’s priceless.
Oh, yeah, Syracuse was blasted by Boston College to finish its season 4-8. Ugh. Better luck next season, we hope.

The Orange had some late problems this season, Nancy. Four losses in a row after beating Clemson. Ugh!

Congratulations on your Buckeyes, Nancy. Yes, that’s a very nice title win over the undefeated Badgers. Now we await the committee’s decision to see if they made it into the playoffs!

Was hoping the Big Ten would be represented. Was hoping to prove that it’s a contender.
I was also hoping since the Buckeyes did not get in that ‘Bama did not get in… I would have loved that match up for a Bowl Game!
