I’m 57 years old today, this guy born in 1957.
It’s my Beddian Birthday.
My dear wife Karen and Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle started the day off by presenting me with a big pile of wonderful gifts.
With our new-found enthusiasm for Cabernet Savignon since our spring bus tour excursion to the Finger Lakes wine trail, Karen wisely chose a gorgeous four-piece wine glass set and three bottles of vino for us to savor. One is from Australia, one is from Argentina, and one is from California. Score.
I opened many others, too, socks to warm my tootsies and shaving lotion to soothe my neck and gift cards to better my golf game and coffee drinking and even more goodies.
Later we’re driving to meet the kids for dinner at the best buffet spread ever at Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
On Facebook, friends from all over the world have pitched in with song videos and great messages. Thank you all.
And didn’t we know that Rachel Carrera would put The Head back in play on his 57th birthday?
What do you want for your birthday?

Hey ole man, Happy Birthday. 1957 was a great year. Take care of that wonderful wife you have there and hope to see you guys again soon.
