A recent trip to Willow Bay revealed this stately tree. The fruit caught my attention. Too big to be a cherries or crabappples for sure. When I air-dropped a photo for my dear wife Karen to try her app, it suggested an American Cherry. We don’t think so.
An occasion for a safe visit to Willow Bay reminded me that the western portion of Onondaga Lake Park has its own feel. I must come down this way more often.
