Chuck Hafner’s still look lovely
A spring safe walk around a wonderful garden center surely calms my soul. Thank you, Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center, for being there for my dear wife Karen and I.

Where there are plants for sale, you may find places to safely plant theme. Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center this spring offers interesting choices. We settle for the ground. Or a plain brown pot.
There are many different pre-carved evergreen bushes available for purchase at Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center. You know, for those of us who want a great topiary but don’t think we have the artistic talent with the clippers. They are interesting. We could not do that to our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle.
When my dear wife Karen and I safely stroll the aisles of Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center each spring, different features catch my eye. Some worker spent extra time in the lawn statue section this year. Somebody somewhere has a green space waiting to be spiced up with one (or more) of these babies. Not us.…
My dear wife Karen and I decided our spring picks at Chuck Hafner’s Garden Center would include a new azalea. That section was surprisingly spare in its choices. We did add one to our cart. Thank you to sister-in-law Lynne for the gift certificate for this spring’s shopping spree! I’ll wait to show you the…
Terrific daughter George and sensational significant George Three arrived this past weekend with gifts for my dear wife Karen. They know the right stuff. A photo of them on the living room entertainment center is perfect. They took part in a photo event with siblings and others. Perfect. Next from their car came a white…
I reacted calmly receiving this photo in a text a bit back from my dear wife Karen. She needed to visit her great friend Chris someplace warm for a few days. Chris needed some emotional support. Karen could use a stop near an ocean. They both were totally vaccinated and know how to remain cautious…
A full game of Syracuse Mets vs. Scranton/Wilkes Barre Rail Riders Triple A baseball from these seats on opening day May 4, 2021 was fairly fabulous. And my hometown Mets won, 5-2. May this season brings plenty of great games for us four.
What the heck, I figured at the Syracuse Mets box office 14 months ago. Let’s spring for the new feature. Table top seating. Behind home plate. Sure, they go for $25 a pop buying ahead of time (more if you happen to get them on the day of game), but this could be a one-time…
After buying tickets for opening day way back in March 2020, my dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth, George Three and I finally got to gather at NBT Bank Stadium to cheer for the Syracuse Mets on Tuesday, May 4. Yes, a whole season had been canceled by COVID-19. We had our names engraved on…
