I’m digging my new set of wheels

It was time for me to finally call an all-wheel drive vehicle my very own. I’ve only lived in snowy, hilly Central New York since 1983, after all. So on Tuesday, I traded in my 2011 Chevy Cruze for my shiny, smells-great Honda HRV. It drove too smoothly in the test loop for me to…

I loved those stickers

My Chevy Cruze did me well since I picked it off the lot in June 2011. I even trusted it enough to place stickers that I thought special on its rear windows. I took a loving look this week. There was one final destination for me and my Cruze, you see …

My work colleagues and I must now walk on the inside path at Onondaga Lake Park during our library break strolls. The outer path is now taken by many bicycle riders, including the big tandems rented at the Visitors Center.

Two boats in

Walking with my library colleagues last week, we noticed the second boat has arrived in the Onondaga Lake Marina. We have two small craft side-by-side. How soon, we wonder, do they come in big numbers and sizes?
