Nobody wants to take a seat during the winter

Onondaga Lake Park is a year-round recreational space. Folks are invited to use one of the two trails. I walk fairly regularly, since my home and work are so close by. I do not sit down and rest, though. I keep it moving.

Yes, it’s back to normal, dear dog

It seems are cherished rescue mutt Ellie b aka Dogamous Pyle can’t quite believe it’s back to the normal routine, either, as the sun rises over our backyard this first month of 2020.

Now we get back to everyday life with vigor

Are you feeling a Jan. 2 letdown today? Back to work for me, yes. Bye-bye big holiday stretch. Hello, New Year. New decade, too. Now we put our thoughts and reflections to action, right? With great resolve, right?

Getting ready for our new year

May you have a special day ringing out the year. And the decade. I’ll leave you looking up from a spot I park my car many times while running errands in the Village of Liverpool. It’s a reminder to keep our eyes open to find the wonder in life.

It still looks pretty, I’ll admit

Another new building on the Syracuse landscape

Every time I look, it seems a new building is finished up on the Syracuse University hill. We definitely can call it a shiny new building. Even when I think there’s no more room up there, they find it. Every building may be modern if they keep this up.

Feeling a little smaller about the weekly bowling league
